Stocks Portfolio Integration
Stocks Portfolio Integration is a new ZelCore+ feature that connects traditional brokerage accounts — covering stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds — directly inside the Zelcore app. Until now, users who held both crypto and conventional securities had to context-switch between separate apps to get a complete picture of their financial position. This release eliminates that friction.
To use it, open ZelCore+ features and connect a brokerage account through the built-in OAuth integration. Once connected, you can add multiple accounts from different brokerages, all appearing in a consolidated portfolio view. The view displays real-time portfolio values and an allocation visualization that spans your entire connected financial picture. For users who prefer discretion on shared devices or in screen-share contexts, privacy mode can be enabled to mask sensitive brokerage data.
The strategic significance here is the positioning of Zelcore as a unified financial hub rather than a crypto-only wallet. Self-custodial crypto users frequently hold assets across both paradigms — on-chain and in registered brokerage accounts. Bringing those two worlds into a single interface reduces the cognitive overhead of tracking net worth, rebalancing, or simply staying informed. Because the integration is scoped to ZelCore+ and relies on OAuth authorization, the existing self-custodial model remains intact: the feature is additive and opt-in, not a shift in how on-chain assets are managed.
Multi-Language Expansion
Multi-Language Expansion adds comprehensive AI-powered translations for 17 languages across the Zelcore platform. The languages added are Czech, Danish, Finnish, French, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Chinese.
The breadth of this expansion reflects Zelcore's user base extending well beyond English-speaking markets. A user in Warsaw, Athens, or Jakarta can now navigate the full interface — including the ZelCore+ features introduced in this release — in their native language without relying on browser-level translation, which often mishandles financial terminology or breaks layout. AI-assisted translation means the strings were generated with semantic context rather than raw dictionary substitution, which tends to produce more natural phrasing in domains like finance and technology where literal translation frequently produces awkward results.
From a practical standpoint,
This kind of localization work tends to be unglamorous but consistently ranks as a driver of adoption in non-English markets, where a fully native experience signals that a product is built for the user rather than translated as an afterthought.
Smaller updates
Extension compatibility fix. Conditional checks for browser extension support were corrected in this release. Users running the Zelcore browser extension should see more reliable behavior, particularly in edge cases where the extension detection logic previously returned incorrect results.
Production build fix. A production build issue was resolved. This is a developer-facing fix that ensures the distributed release artifact is built correctly — relevant if you run a self-hosted or enterprise deployment and compile from source, or if you noticed inconsistencies between development and production behavior in 8.17.x.
Variant link styling. UI updates added variant link styling with proper hover-effect exclusions. This is a polish change to interactive text elements that improves visual clarity and prevents unintended hover states on link variants throughout the interface.
How to update
Zelcore updates automatically on mobile and desktop platforms when you have background updates enabled — most users will receive 8.18.0 without any manual steps. If you prefer to update immediately, open the app and check for updates in the About section, or download the latest build directly from zelcore.io/download. Desktop users on macOS, Windows, and Linux can also download platform-specific installers from the same page.
