Zelcore 8.21.0 release — Kasplex mainnet network diagram and FluxONE AI image studio interface

Version 8.21.0 brings two substantial additions to Zelcore: the Kasplex EVM-compatible mainnet is now live with WKAS token support, and FluxONE — an AI image studio — launches inside FluxAI. Rounding out the release are improvements to swap history, FluxDrive, and new quick-access widgets on the Portfolio screen.

At a glance

Kasplex Mainnet

Kasplex is an EVM-compatible network built on top of Kaspa, and version 8.21.0 marks its mainnet debut inside Zelcore. The network appears under Networks in the app alongside any other EVM chain, meaning the same address management and signing flows that Zelcore users already know apply here without a learning curve.

From the wallet interface you can import additional Kasplex tokens using the dedicated token import flow, and a separate section for Kasplex Testnet is available for anyone building or testing contracts before committing to mainnet. One operational detail to keep in mind: KAS on Kasplex mainnet is required to pay gas when interacting with Kasplex contracts. This is consistent with how wrapped-native-asset networks work — you hold WKAS as the representational asset but spend KAS for execution.

The strategic context here is Kaspa's growth as a proof-of-work layer-one with block DAG architecture. Kasplex extends that base layer with EVM smart-contract capability, giving Kaspa holders a path into DeFi and token issuance without leaving the Kaspa ecosystem. Zelcore's KAS support already made it a natural home for Kaspa holders; adding Kasplex mainnet means those users can now interact with contracts and hold WKAS directly inside the same wallet. The simultaneous addition of IgraLabs Testnet — also KAS-gated for gas — signals that the Kasplex developer ecosystem is getting first-class tooling support in Zelcore, not just end-user coverage.

FluxONE

FluxONE is an AI image studio that ships as part of FluxAI, Zelcore's integrated AI suite. A new App Selector inside FluxAI lets you switch between FluxGPT (text chat) and FluxONE (image generation) without leaving the screen.

The image generation interface exposes controls that matter for practical use: adjustable aspect ratios, output format selection across JPG, PNG, and WEBP, and quality settings. Generated images open in a large preview, can be downloaded in one click, and on mobile can be shared directly via the system share sheet. Session management records your interaction history so you can resume previous generations or review what you created in an earlier session — useful when iterating on a concept across multiple work periods.

Model selection is handled through the Zelcore API provider. The available models at launch include Llama 3.1, DeepSeek 8B, and DeepSeek 32B, giving users a choice between different capability and speed trade-offs depending on what a given task demands.

FluxONE also supports login-less access — you can launch it from the EasyLogin screen without signing into a Zelcore account. That significantly lowers the barrier for new users exploring the app, and it means FluxONE functions as an accessible entry point into FluxAI rather than a feature gated behind full onboarding. The integration of AI image generation directly inside a self-custodial wallet reflects the broader Flux ecosystem's direction:

Smaller updates

Swap history fiat values. Each swap in your history now displays the fiat value at the time the swap was executed, with a tooltip available in both the history list and the detail view. This makes cost-basis tracking and personal accounting considerably more straightforward — the historical fiat figure is recorded at execution time rather than recalculated at today's rate.

Portfolio shortcuts. Two new widgets appear on the Portfolio screen: a FluxAI Shortcut and a FluxDrive Shortcut. Both provide one-tap access to AI chat and image generation, and to decentralized file storage, respectively, reducing the navigation steps needed to reach those features from your wallet overview.

FluxDrive polish. Maximum file size is now displayed in MB for clarity, accompanied by minor UX improvements to the upload flow.

Linux stability. The.deb installer now sets up the zelcore alternative and configures Chromium sandbox permissions, which improves stability on Debian-based systems — a meaningful fix for desktop Linux users running Zelcore as their primary wallet client.

Minor fixes landed for testnet coin naming and placement, panel routing, colors, and focus states.

How to update

Zelcore updates automatically on desktop when the app is running; you will be prompted to restart once the download completes. On mobile, updates arrive through the App Store or Google Play.
