Zelcore 8.24 introduced full support for the Veil privacy blockchain, bringing native VEIL coin management into the wallet alongside a round of reliability fixes and library updates. Users who hold or transact in privacy-focused assets now have a self-custodial home for VEIL inside Zelcore.

Veil Blockchain Support
Zelcore 8.24 added complete integration of the Veil privacy-focused blockchain. The wallet supports full send and receive functionality for the native VEIL coin, connected to a dedicated Veil API and explorer so balances and transaction history remain accurate. Privacy-preserving transaction capabilities are included as part of the integration. To start using VEIL, search for it in the Zelcore asset list and add it to your portfolio.
Fixes and Updates
Several issues received targeted fixes in this release. A patch problem that affected Monero transaction processing was resolved, and a bug preventing Fusion reward claims with Algorand addresses was corrected. On the update side, the Beldex library moved to v2.0.0 to keep pace with the latest Beldex network fork. Transaction fee validation was tightened: Zelcore now checks that sufficient funds cover the fee before broadcasting, reducing the chance of a send attempt failing on-chain. The login experience received refactoring for token import and notification triggers, mobile-friendly notification display was improved, the Solana logo was updated to current official branding, and Terra blockchain configuration was adjusted.
How to Update
Zelcore updates automatically. Open the app and navigate to Settings to check your current version and trigger the update if it has not already applied. You can also download the latest build directly from zelcore.io. Once updated, Veil and all other changes in 8.24 are immediately available.
