Zelcore is a free, non-custodial desktop crypto wallet for Windows, macOS and Linux. One application holds Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM networks, Solana, Kaspa, Kadena, Monero, Zcash and more than 80 other blockchains, with 100,000+ tokens available without adding a separate wallet for each chain.
The desktop app is where Zelcore features land first and where you get the most screen space: a full portfolio view across every chain, swaps and purchases inside the app, staking, node management, and hardware wallet pairing. If you hold assets on more than a couple of networks, this is the version to start with. The mobile wallet and browser extension share the same account, so you can add them later.
Zelcore never holds your funds. A modern account is a 12- or 24-word seed phrase using the industry-standard BIP44 derivation, so the same phrase restores your wallet on any device and can be imported into other BIP44-compatible wallets. Private keys are generated and encrypted on your computer; they are not sent to Zelcore or anyone else.
d2FA adds a PIN check for high-value transactions and sensitive settings. Instead of relying on a single authentication server, verification is distributed across a decentralized network, so there is no central service to compromise or take offline.
On supported hardware you can unlock with Windows Hello or a fingerprint reader. Biometric checks are processed locally and never leave the machine. Zelcore also recommends full-disk encryption (BitLocker, FileVault) and a strong, unique password of at least 12 characters.
Pair a Ledger Nano S, S Plus or X, or a Trezor One or Model T, and Zelcore becomes the interface while the keys stay on the device. Every transaction is confirmed on the hardware wallet itself, so a compromised computer cannot sign on your behalf. Hardware pairing is available on desktop; the mobile app and extension do not support it.
Your seed phrase is the only backup. Write it on paper or metal, keep copies in separate secure places, and never store it digitally or type it into a website. Zelcore support will never ask for it. Windows: Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. Choose the installer for a standard setup or the portable build to run from a folder or USB drive.
macOS: macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later. Download the Apple Silicon build for M-series Macs and the Intel build for older machines.
Linux: Ubuntu 18.04+, Fedora 32+ or any distribution that runs .deb or AppImage packages. The AppImage needs no installation; make it executable and run it.
